With over 3,622 sounds, the MPS-1500 offers more than four times the sound selection of preceding models. 80 preset kits and 80 user kits are available for maximum customisability. Integrating your own samples is effortless, as the storage space for sample import has been increased to 500 MB. This provides space for up to 600 user files for backing tracks, loops and individual custom sounds.
RGB Brilliance Meets Real-Time Control
RGB lighting shines on each of the nine pads on the sample pad. With 16 colours and various modes such as ‘Dynamic’ and ‘BPM Sync’, you’ll always be able to see what’s happening, even on dark stages. The four programmable real-time knobs (K1–K4) adjust sound parameters, effects or volumes directly whilst playing, without having to navigate through sub-menus. A crystal-clear 4.3-inch TFT colour display ensures that the menu navigation is always clear and easy to follow.
Sound Design and Live Performance
The control centre offers sophisticated tools such as professional sound layering: two sounds per zone (Layers A/B) can be blended together using transitions such as Mix, Switch, Fade and Crossfade. Mute and Link groups make it easy to control loops and mute specific sounds at the touch of a button. Create custom setlists for your live performances using the integrated Chain function, which allows you to switch between kits in a flash during a gig.
Connectivity and Expandability
When it comes to connectivity, the MPS-1500 is fully designed for studio and live integration. A total of 14 trigger inputs allow you to customise your setup. Eight balanced direct outputs enable separate mixing of individual instruments on stage or in the studio, whilst digital I/O and USB ports ensure seamless integration with any DAW.
